CEC announces New, Updated Preliminary Voting Results

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced new, updated preliminary voting results for the members of the BiH Presidency, and according to the currently counted votes, there was no change in the order of candidates compared to the previously published data.

Denis Bećirović won the most votes among the Bosniak candidates for the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to the latest CEC data, he received 210,483 votes.

In second place is SDA candidate Bakir Izetbegović with 187,753 votes. Bećirović currently has 22,730 more votes than Izetbegović.

The third is the president of the Party for BiH Semir Efendić with 141,315 votes, while Fahrudin Radončić won 11,852 votes.

HDZ BiH candidate Darijana Filipović is leading the election race for the Croatian member of the BiH Presidency. According to the updated preliminary results, she won 109,168 votes.

Behind her is Democratic Front candidate Slaven Kovačević with 71,568 votes, while independent candidate Zdenko Lučić received 53,724 votes.

Filipović currently has an advantage of 37,600 votes over Kovačević.

The most pronounced difference was recorded in the election race for a member of the BiH Presidency from among the Serbian people.

SNSD candidate Željka Cvijanović is in first place with 288,606 votes. SDS candidate Marinko Božović won 138,033 votes, while Nebojša Vukanović got 94,174 votes.

Cvijanović currently has 150,573 more votes than Božović.

The published data are still preliminary and not final. CEC BiH continues to enter and update results as data from polling stations and other categories of voting are received.
