With the flyover of nine Rafale fighter jets, the ceremonial military parade through Vukovarska street in Zagreb ended on Thursday, which marks the 30th anniversary of the military police action Storm and the liberation of the occupied territory occupied by rebel Serbs and members of the Yugoslav army during the Homeland War, according to Hina.

The maximum range of the Rafale with external fuel tanks is 3,700 kilometers.

Active soldiers, war veterans, volunteers, conscripts and cadets marched in an impressive column, longer than three kilometers, and many gathered could see Patria combat vehicles, PuH 2000 howitzers and M-84 and Leopard 2A tanks that have yet to arrive in the Croatian Army.

More than three thousand participants and 500 vehicles passed for two hours through Zagreb’s Vukovar Street, from Marin Držić Avenue to Savska cesta. Perfectly trained, motivated, encouraged by the applause of many citizens, they did a great job.
In addition to the Armed Forces, members of the Ministry of the Interior, Directorate of Civil Protection, Croatian Mountain Rescue Service, Judicial Police, Croatian Fire Brigade, Croatian veterans and historical units took part in the parade.
Members of the armed forces from eight countries also took part in the ceremonial parade for the first time. In that formation, members of foreign forces carried the flags of their countries.
41 aircraft from the Croatian Air Force (HRZ) and six helicopters of the MUP of the Republic of Croatia participated in the flight program of the parade. HRZ’s “Wings of the Storm” aerobatic group participated with six Pilatus PC-9M aircraft.
A Croatian Navy (HRM) cruise called “Greetings from the Adriatic” was held in the Adriatic waters. The naval formation consisted of four missile gunboats, two landing minesweepers, four patrol ships and four large rubber boats, on which 211 members of the Croatian Navy were engaged.
As part of the parade, citizens had the opportunity to see a display of new weapons and modern military equipment, such as the Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicle and FPV drones, which represented technological progress and the continuous strengthening of the defense capabilities of the Croatian Army.
A rich cultural and artistic program was also held at the ceremonial military parade.
