The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBiH) has become the only institution from BiH to have acquired the status of a full member of the OECD/INFE network (International Network on Financial Education – the International Network for Financial Education of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development – OECD), thereby granting BiH, for the first time, a direct and institutionally represented voice in one of the key global networks for financial education and financial inclusion.
Full membership in the OECD/INFE network represents significant international recognition of the role, professional capacities, and long-standing engagement of the CBBiH in the field of financial education and financial inclusion, and confirms its clear commitment to the application of the highest international standards and best practices in this area.
“Full membership of the CBBiH in the @the_oecd /INFE network represents strong international recognition of our continuous efforts in the field of financial education and financial inclusion. This membership enables us to actively and equally participate in shaping international policies and recommendations, as well as to contribute to global discussions and solutions, while simultaneously exchanging knowledge and experience with the most relevant institutions around the world, with the aim of improving financial literacy and long-term financial stability in BiH,” stated the Governor of the CBBiH, Jasmina Selimovic, the institution announced.
