A winter storm has brought significant snowfall to parts of the United States (U.S.), leading to travel disruptions and school closures in Washington.
Temperatures in New York have dropped to as low as minus one degree, and the snow continues to fall.
This is the second major winter storm in the U.S. this year. In early January, federal offices were closed for two days due to heavy snowfall reaching up to 25 centimeters.
More than 90 million people were under winter weather warningsduring the storm.
