Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Dragan Covic visited Brussels yesterday where he met with President of the European Council Donald Tusk.

He said that he clearly stated that the problems in BiH will be resolved and that they will ask for support from the EU in order for the integration process to be successfully completed.

Covic is expecting the pace of BiH towards the EU to be accelerated. He believes that the issue of MAP and the candidate status of BiH in the EU will be resolved in the next 12 months.

Chairman Covic said that he will take the responsibility of completing obligations and restoring confidence in BH politicians on himself. He noted that there is no reason for European obligations and the MAP to be canceled.

He commented on the topic of the construction of the Peljesac Bridge as well, and he said that conversations will be intensified and that he believes that a joint project must pass in BiH because it helps our country as well.

When it comes to the internal organization of BiH, Covic said that it is a matter of BiH, and not the EU representative. He also noted that the European Parliament has a clear stand on the organization of our country, especially regarding its constitutionality and federalism.
