Chairperson of BiH Presidency: Becirovic is bothered whenever Serbs celebrate anything

The Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina(BiH), Zeljka Cvijanovic, stated in a public announcement that BiH Presidency member Denis Becirovic “uses false accusations against Vucic and Serbia to conceal his own Greater Bosniak aspirations toward Republika Srpska (RS).”

“He cannot hide his pathological hatred toward everything Serbian, so he tries to justify it to himself and others with nonexistent threats from Serbia.

Today, Becirovic is bothered by Sretenje, yesterday he was bothered by January 9th, and tomorrow it will be something else,” Cvijanovicstated.

She added that “he is actually bothered whenever Serbs celebrate anything, but he has no issue with him and his compatriots celebrating the day when the Serbian wedding guest Nikola Gardovic was killed in Bascarsija.”

“That is why it is better that those who, like with the so-called ‘Independence Day of BiH,’ celebrate the day when the war in BiH began, do not speak about holidays and threats to peace.

Becirovic is desperately clinging to the narrative of an allegedly threatened peace because he is trying to keep the international spotlight on BiH, even though there has long been no need for it.

BiH is not threatened by anyone from the outside but rather by those within it who want to dictate to others what they can celebrate, say, and think,” Cvijanovic stated, according to the Public Relations Service of the BiH Presidency.
