Chairperson of BiH Presidency meets Hungarian Prime Minister

Chairperson of the Presidency of BiH Željka Cvijanović, as part of her official visit to Hungary, met with the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, in Budapest today.

The interlocutors assessed that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Hungary have no outstanding issues, and expressed hope that good bilateral relations will be the basis for further strengthening of economic and other forms of cooperation. Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Sijarto also attended the meeting.

Cvijanović thanked Prime Minister Orban for the high level of political understanding towards everyone in BiH and the region, support in the field of European integration, as well as significant projects of the Hungarian government in BiH, such as the support program for farmers in the entity of Republika Srpska.

On this occasion, Chairperson Cvijanović informed the interlocutors about the current political situation in BiH and the formation of the government after the elections held in October last year, announced the Presidency of BiH.
