poslovni_forum_bih_i_italije-2The BiH Foreign Trade Chamber, in cooperation with Tree Group Consortium Company and the Embassy of Italy in Sarajevo organized in Sarajevo today a business forum BiH-Italy within the framework of the delegation of Italian business people to our country.

On this occasion, the Director of Energoinvest d.d. Enes Čengić announced that in the last two months BIH is the focus of economic interests of large countries.

He recalled the recent successful visit of the political-economic delegation of BiH to the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, and at the investment forum in London last week.

“This says that BiH is currently a very interesting country for foreign investors. There is a lot of money in the world, and everyone is looking for a secure destination where they would be able to invest money and create new value’’, said Čengić to journalists.

He said that foreign journalists are not coming here in order to award us money, but to make profits, and “this is our opportunity”.

“Our chance is to attract foreign capital, and thanks to such forums we can easily and quickly come into contact with the right investors who are truly interested for what BiH could do’’, said Čengić.

He said that the comparative advantages of BIH are in energy, agricultural and educated workforce.

“Lately, there have been three important forums where investors in BiH have been presented. The interest that is shown this year, which is not a year of investment, shows that we could be an interesting destination. At this moment, it is mostly up to us to attract foreign investment’’, concluded Čengić.
