Foundation ‘Sanela Redžepagić’ has marked the Day of Daffodil in the Mall ‘Džananović’ in Zenica and has organised the sale of this flower and the money from this sale will be used for projects of prevention and early discovery of breast cancer.

President of the Foundation Larisa Gavran said that today’s action is very important for all women of BIH.

Gavran said to klix.ba: ‘With the sale of these daffodils we want to draw the attention on this very dangerous disease that needs to be diagnosed in early stages. The collected money will be used for prevention and early diagnosis of the breast cancers. Mammogram that we have is not very modern and the list of waiting is very long. We need another one, more modern and more precise in diagnosing breast cancer.’

Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton Fikret Plevljak also joined the action and called all women to go on regular checks in order to secure safe and healthy life.

Organisers are pleased with today’s response of citizens of Zenica, which shows that they do understand the seriousness of this disease, and have called all those who plan to pass by this part of the city to join their action.
