Chief of the Joint Staff of the AF of BiH met with the Commander of US Forces Europe

The Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lieutenant General Senad Mašović, on the sidelines of the American-Adriatic Charter (A5) conference, on September 27, 2023, met with General Christopher Cavoli, the Commander of the US Forces for Europe, and also the Supreme Commander of the NATO Forces in Europe.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed bilateral cooperation between the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Armed Forces of the USA, and had the opportunity to exchange opinions and views on the current security and other challenges faced by the world today, but also to a large extent by Bosnia and Herzegovina and its armed forces. The need and willingness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the US Armed Forces, as well as multilateral cooperation with NATO, was jointly highlighted.

General Cavoli expressed his willingness to continue providing the necessary support to the Armed Forces of BiH, as well as the clear commitment of the USA to maintaining security and peace in BiH and supporting the strengthening of the overall capacities of the Armed Forces of BiH.
