Chinese Language to be taught in the Elementary School in East New Sarajevo?

The classroom for the purposes of learning Chinese language was opened yesterday thanks to the help of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in BiH.

The Ambassador of China, Chen Bo, noted that she is very happy for the fact that there is a great interest among children in this area in learning Chinese language and introducing with Chinese culture.

She thanked the Municipality of East New Sarajevo and the Primary School “Sveti Sava” for all the efforts they made at the opening of this first classroom for learning Chinese language in the RS, as well as the University in East Sarajevo for contributing to the promotion of the Chinese language in this part of the RS.

The Prime Minister of the RS Zeljka Cvijanovic stated that this will be a major step of the process of getting people of the RS and China closer.

“Besides the activities on relation of institutions of the RS and China regarding the investments in various fields that include healthcare, traffic infrastructure and the field of energy, we included the field of culture and education as well,” stated PM Cvijanovic.

She is also very happy with the fact that there is a large interest of children in the RS in learning the Chinese language.
