Citizens of BiH to pay 50 EUR to enter the Schengen Countries?

schengen-696x456Future system of registration of passengers of the European Union might bring up to two billion EUR annually and those funds might be used to compensate the expenditures from the budget of the EU.

Tariffs in the future system for travel authorization will be paid by citizens of countries that are not in the EU and do not need a visa to travel to Schengen, which might refer to citizens of BiH as well.

The EU Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) should apply only to citizens of countries that do not need a visa to enter the Schengen zone, while citizens of countries members of the EU will be exempt from this rule, due to the principle of free movement of workers.

Budget of the EU for 2014-2020 is reduced and funds are significantly cut. According to some calculations, ETIAS could easily bring half billion EUR annually if tariffs cost 13 EUR, similar like U.S. ESTA system. However, tariffs in the EU have not been agreed upon yet and might amount to as much as 50 EUR. With the price of 50 EUR, by 2020 the ETIAS would bring more than two million EUR annually.
