Citizens of Japan have the most powerful Passport, where is Bosnia?

The days of traveling by plane whenever and wherever someone wants are a memory for now. The coronavirus pandemic has changed the “passenger landscape”. Countries around the world are entering new blockades with the goal of preventing the spread of coronavirus, and when the restrictions are lifted, it is likely that vaccination before travel will be necessary, writes CNN.

However, the Henley Passport Index has just, as every year, published the latest report and ranking of state passports for 2021. 110 countries are covered, and it is also known where the passport of Bosnia and Herzegovina is. Residents of Asian countries still have the most powerful travel documents.

The index does not take into account temporary restrictions, so Japan is again at the top of the scale, offering visa-free access to 191 destinations around the world, Radio Sarajevo writes.

Singapore is in second place (with a score of 190), and South Korea shares third place with Germany (with a score of 189). A little further on is New Zealand, in seventh position with visa-free access for 185 destinations, while Australia is in eighth place, with access to 184 destinations.

In seventh place are the United States and the United Kingdom, where, on the other hand, the number of cases of coronavirus infection is growing sharply.

Thus, as it is stated, holders of American passports can currently travel to less than 75 destinations, while holders of British passports have access to less than 70 destinations.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is in 49th place. As pointed out from the Henley Passport Index, it is possible to travel freely, without a visa, to 117 countries of the world with a Bosnian passport. Of the countries of the former Yugoslavia, the best ranked is Slovenia, which is in 12th place, along with Latvia. Serbia ranks 38th along with Honduras and El Salvador, Croatia 18th, which it shares with Bulgaria, while Montenegro and Northern Macedonia rank 45th.
