Collecting Flour in BiH for Syrian Refugees!

Syrian Refugees to come to B&H klix.baActivists of Pomozi.ba decided to launch a new humanitarian action of collecting funds for flour intended for Syrian refugees.

The action started two to three days ago, given that we already have a solid amount of flour from the very beginning. It is about one hundred tons of flour. The campaign will last until mid-January next year, and we will go with the convoy to the border of Syria to deliver that flour immediately afterwards,” said Elvir Karalic, the founder of “Pomozi.ba”.

A similar action in this association took place in 2013.

“We were driven by the fact that we went through a similar situation in the 90’s. We decided to help these people, specifically in flour, because there is a huge need for bread. Around 2.7 million refugees is in the territory of Turkey and we want to give our contribution,” said Karalic.

All those who want can give their contribution. There are two locations in Sarajevo where you can donate items that will be sold for charity.

Aida Polutan Karalic, an activist of the association, said: “I can safely say that this has become one of favorite stores in Sarajevo, because of the concept of American Goodwill Store where people can bring things they do not need, but also buy cool stuff. Really unusual and interesting things can be found there. “

“Now they are mostly focused on helping Syrian refugees. They hope for successful realization of this humane idea that can leave an indelible trace to those on which it was directed to.
