The Government of Colombia issued a decision to abolish the visa regime for citizens of BiH, Qatar and Serbia, as confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.

“With the decision of the Government of the Republic of Colombia, visa will not be requested for citizens of BiH when traveling to this country, on the period for up to 90 days. This period can be extended for additional 90 days, where the one-year stay on the territory of the Republic of Colombia without visa cannot be longer than 180 days,” said minister-advisor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Nebojsa Regoje.

Citizens of BiH who are traveling to Colombia now will only need a temporary visit permission in the corresponding category and it will depend on their planned activities in this country.

Therefore, the citizens of BiH will be able to get a permission for stay on up to 30 days for urgent technical work or a permission that allows certain business activities on the period of up to 90 days.

To recall, citizens of Montenegro were granted with a visa free entry to Colombia before, and citizens of South Africa received this visa-free regime back in September 2017.

Citizens of the Republic of Colombia do not need a visa to enter BiH, leave it, transit and stay in the territory of BiH for up to 90 days.
