Companies in BiH owe 349 million BAM for VAT and Excise Duties

The largest VAT and excise debtor as of today is KJKP Gras Sarajevo with 25.9 million BAM. Followed by Sarajevo Brewery with 21.1 million BAM and Bosmal with 12.8 million BAM.

According to the latest updated list published by the ITA, there are as many as 1,586 companies with a debt for unpaid VAT and excise taxes, totaling 349,689,903 BAM.

It is followed by Monter&Co Bijeljina with 7.6 million BAM, Hisar Trade Brčko with 7 million BAM and RTV BiH with 6.4 million BAM.

Among the top 10 debtors are Extrablatt (Gradačac), Gulf Real Estate with 3.2 million BAM, FlyBosnia with 3 million KM and Kristof (Laktasi) with 2.7 million BAM.

As for customs debtors, the largest debtor is Novik d.o.o. (Bosanska Gradiška) with over a million BAM.

Followed by BL Automanija (Banja Luka) with 856 thousand BAM and General (Modriča) with 815,000 BAM debt. There is also Megacom (Tuzla) with 683,000 BAM, Metalno (Zenica) with 612,000 BAM, Sefaa (Sarajevo) with 594,000, Anelsis BH (Ilidža) with 591,000 BAM, Euro Lab Banja Luka with 590,000 BAM, etc.

All debtors who do not want to appear on the publicly published list of debtors and thereby endanger their business reputation, should pay their debts on the basis of indirect taxes. The documents published by the ITA include all debtors whose debt is greater than 25,000 BAM.

In addition to the public announcement of the debtor, in the Law on Amendments to the Law on Indirect Taxation Procedures, which was adopted by the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the proposal of the Internal Revenue Service and the Administrative Board of the Internal Revenue Service, the subsequent burden of coercion was reduced from 10 to 5 percent, and default interest from 0.06 to 0 .04 percent for each day of delay, Klix.ba writes.
