The 47th Competition of Postmen of South East Europe in Racewalking was held on Wilson’s Promenade. The organizers of this event were BH Post and Turkish Post.

Competitors from six countries of South-East Europe, i.e. more than 120 competitors in both men and women category, competed in the discipline of racewalking.

The competition in racewalking for women was held on 5,000 meters, while men competed on 10, 000 meters.

This is a Balkan Championship for postmen, and it gathered competitors from BiH, Turkey, Albania, Romania, Macedonia and Slovenia.

This is a traditional event that is dating back from 1977 as an example of integration, social solidarity, heritage culture and traditions of all countries of South East Europe.

Postal motorcycles were handed over as part of the event by the Turkish Post Offices to BH Post.
