Conference in Sarajevo Today on the Application of “EU Timber Regulation”

The Conference on the application of the “EU Timber Regulation (EUTR)” will be held today in Sarajevo.

The organizers of the conference are the Foreign Trade Chamber BiH/Agency for Export Promotion BiH (BHEPA), in cooperation with USAID-Sida Firma Project BiH, NERDA-Development Agency SI BiH and the Faculty of Forestry in Sarajevo.

The Conference aims to find solutions for the most recent and pressing issues in the timber industry in BiH “Adopt measures and actions to overcome obstacles from Regulation No. 995/2010 (EUTR) of the European Union for exporters from BiH.

The goal of the conference is to adopt emergency measures and an action plan, and then to implement and monitor the measures.
