Conference on Prevention of Sexual Violence in Conflict and Strengthening Role of Regional Security Forces

The B&H Ministry of Defense, in cooperation with the embassies of the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Norway are the hosts of a conference on the topic “prevention of sexual violence in conflict and strengthening role of regional security forces in peace support operations”, which will be held today in the B&H House of Armed Forces starting at 9:30.

At the conference, which will be chaired by the Deputy Minister of Defense of B&H Marina Pendeš, other guests include senior officials of the ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom, minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H Zlatko Lagumdžija, first Deputy Prime minister of Croatia Vesna Pusić, Assistant Secretary of NATO for public diplomacy Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovićand the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to B&H Anne Vibeke Lilloe.

The conference will also be attended by high level representatives of relevant ministries of countries in the region, as well as representatives of international and nonprofit organizations engaged in B&H.
