Manchester explosionSamir Ahmic from Derventa and his family who live in Manchester had dramatic and sleepless night. He was outside the hall where the terrorist attack took place, and in which at least 22 people were killed.

He was waiting for his wife Sanela and his daughter Anita who were at the concert of Ariana Grande that was held in the Arena Manchester.

“I went through and survived the entire war, I went everywhere with football fans, all kinds of things happened to me, but this cannot be compared to anything. This was the worst thing ever,” said Ahmic.

“I parked my car right in front of the Arena, and I was joking with a friend over the phone when I heard fireworks. I was thinking that the end of the concert is soon. Then I heard the explosion that sounded like a grenade. I ran out of my car, I heard screaming, people were running from the Arena. Near is the train station Victoria. I asked people whether there was an explosion in the metro, but no one replied. I ran towards the Arena, the people were running away. I asked a man whether there was an explosion inside, and he confirmed. I called my wife, she was not answering. People were running, children were covered in blood, I kept calling my wife and she was not answering. I was running like a fly without a head. I heard the screams of children, and the police started arriving as well. I kept trying to contact my wife, but she was not answering. Then I saw them. She took the child and ran to the other side, towards the stadium of the Manchester City,” said Ahmic.

He added that he is still in shock and cannot believe what happened last night.

According to British media, 22 people were killed and 59 were injured in the explosion that took place last night around 11:30 PM on the concert of Ariana Grande in the Arena Manchester. There are children among the victims.
