Gas PipelineThe Government of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) has adopted information on the construction of the gas pipeline “Southern Interconnection of BiH and Croatia” and this project was proclaimed as a strategic project for the FBiH.

Namely, it is strategic in a way that it will ensure the security of supply and development of natural gas market in FBiH. At the same time, this represents the initial and first step in the continuation of the construction of the gas pipeline Zenica-Travnik-Novi Travnik-Posušje-Zagvozd.

BH-Gas, in cooperation with the Government of the FBiH and Prime Minister Novalic have already provided funds for the final study of gas pipeline construction, project documentation and property-legal relations.

At the same time, meetings with creditors who expressed interest in funding this project were also made during the last period.

With an aim of interconnection of transport gas systems of the two neighboring countries, the Letter of Intent with the Croatian company Plinacro was signed on the realization and construction of the gas pipeline on the territory of the Republic of Croatia up to the border with BiH.

After years of deadlock, BH-Gas managed to make this project feasible in only a couple of months, for both investors and partners in BiH and the region.
