Lašva - Donji Vakuf Speed Road poskok.infoConstruction of the speed road Lašva – Vitez – Donji Vakuf, in the total length of 53 kilometers, is on the lst of priorities of Motorways of FB&H and the Government of FB&H, confirmed th Assistant Federal Minister of Transport and Communications Pavo Boban. The project is worth 550 million BAM, and its construction could begin already next year.

Boban said that several years ago a public contest was opened for concessionaires at this section, but that now it is being worked on activating it again in order to bring the project back to life and finally start constructing. This project is in the program of governmental public investments.

Late last year, the Government of FB&H reached a Decision on determining general interest for the construction of speed road Lašva – Vitez – Donji Vakuf, in accordance with technical regulations and rules of Trans-European main roads. In this way, conditions were created for the development of investment-technical documentation and the settlement of property relations.

“The project is being worked on. It is difficult to say now when the construction could start precisely, but this road is on the priorities list. The Government knows that. The problem is in the mountain pass Komar. There is also an option to do the third lane, which would be an alternative. However, now we have to find the right model of financing“, Boban said.

Total investment value: 550 million BAM

Value of the first stage of construction: 364 million BAM

Designed speed: 100 kmph

Width of traffic lane: 3,5 meters
