goatsThe President of Breeders of goats, sheep and other cattle “Tor” in Mostar Dževad Kovač and the representative of the Turkish company Milks from Bursa Aybar Ulucka signed a contract on the implementation of the agricultural project in BiH for building a thousand farms of sheep and goat.

Preparation for the project lasted one year and its implementation should begin immediately.

“We expect that the implementation of the project will go in the direction of strengthening and developing production in this field with securing product placement and we will produce everything, from milk to meat,” Kovač added.

He also said that he expects a public call for constructing these farms to be announced soon.

“This is one of the bright examples of how people from abroad recognized that livestock farming is a priority in this country and they want to help organize and build a thousand farms of sheep and goat. We hope the government recognizes how important this sector is,” Kovač added.

“Around 7,500 people will get a job after the entire product is completed and the expected export will amount to 500 million per year,” representative of the firm Milksa Aybar Ulucka said.

He added that their goals to make BiH a recognized name in this sector in the world.

He also said that they are planning constructing a factory for milk processing and production of cattle food.
