Besides the prosecutors, members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) were also sent to the Sarajevo University Clinical Center (KCUS) yesterday. SIPA members were acting according to the orders of the Canton Sarajevo (CS) Prosecutor’s Office.

As was already announced, the representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office of CS entered the KCUS yesterday. The prosecutors of this case are Mladen Vukojicic and Meliha Dugalija.

This action was launched after a letter from a doctor that appeared in public, in which it was discussed the catastrophic situation at KCUS with an emphasis on respirators procured by “Srebrena malina” which are being used in the intensive care department, and which are allegedly inadequate for that purpose.

It was also found out that the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Dzermin Pasic, who is working on the “Respirators” case, and in which the trial is already underway at the Court of BiH, where the main suspect is Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalic, is also at KCUS. There is also the investigator of the State Prosecutor’s Office, Mirza Jamakovic.

Also, the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Gordana Tadic, and her associates yesterday met with the Chief Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the CS, Sabina Sarajlija, and her Deputy.

Current events in the past few days, related to respirators and treatment of Covid-19 patients at KCUS, as well as further activities of prosecutorial and judicial institutions were discussed at the meeting.

It is interesting that yesterday it was revealed that there is another case in the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH when it comes to the disputed respirators, and which concerns “assistance to the perpetrator after the crime was committed”.

“Given the fact that the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has previously acted in the case, which was opened before the indictment in the Novalic et al. case, and which refers to assistance to the perpetrator after a crime committed by several persons, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has taken action and continues to work in this case, ” as was announced by the State Prosecutor’s Office said yesterday.

On the other hand, the CS Prosecutor’s Office, based on media reports, under its jurisdiction formed a case relating to a letter from a doctor from KCUS on the usability of respirators in the treatment of patients at KCUS, severe consequences for health and life of patients, as well as other problems in the functioning of the so-called Covid department, in which they will act in the following period.

There are a total of three prosecutors, two investigators, and two inspectors at KCUS, Klix.ba writes.
