Corruption CCUSClinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (CCUS) announced today that anonymous reports arrived to their system for reporting of irregularities, were not followed by the two-way communication of applicants, because of which, some cases couldn’t be processed.

The Head of the Sector for General, Legal and Personnel Affairs of CCUS, Lejla Dumanjic, said on the press conference that CCUS, through the system for reporting irregularities- “Ethical Line“ received 15 reports from June last year to February this year, writes FENA.

-It was noted that there was no two-way communication between investigators, actually employees who handle the “Ethic Line“ and applicants. Each time, investigator from CCUS who works on that Line tried to communicate, which was recorded in the system, but there was no feedback-said Dumanjic.

She also states that maybe employees of CCUS and citizens were not informed enough about the possibility to report irregularities via “Ethic Line“.

Competent ones in CCUS engaged in “Ethic Line“ were trying to, as it was said, contact applicants, but “applicants have never gave answer, and without answers and direct communication, some cases could not been processed“.

-Citizens and employees of CCUS interested for using of “Ethic Line“ should read instructions for filling applications, not to forget their PIN and cooperate with investigators. It was appealed to citizens who suspect at irregularities to use “Ethic Line“ and cooperates with investigators because all reports are anonymous- added Dumanjic.

Anonymous reports arrived in the mentioned period to “Ethic Line“ of CCUS relates to personal and irregularities in hiring, causing damage to the institution, abuse of power and corruptive activities.

“Ethic Line“ has been established  with the intention to point out irregularities and abuse of power of any individual in this collective, it was done with the technical assistence of NetConsulting from Sarajevo, and is available on the website of CCUS, kcus.ba, with a detailed user guide.
