On 16 March 2020, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed an Indictment against the accused Senad Kasupović for the criminal offense of Organizing a Terrorist Group under Article 202d paragraph 2 as read with paragraph 1, all in conjunction with the criminal offense of Terrorism under Article 201 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to the Indictment, the accused Senad Kasupović left the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 12 July 2013 and, upon arrival to Syria he became a member of ISIL terrorist organization which, by daily armed operations (namely, attacks on the population, murders, unlawful detention, taking of hostages and other actions), intended to force the legitimate authorities in Syria to change the constitutional order and the political regime. The accused was a member of this organization until December 2019 and he, together with other persons from Bosnia and Herzegovina who were in Syria with the same intention, took part in terrorist activities, rendered assistance and fought for ISIL forces in Syria in the cities of Manbij, Kobanî, Raqqa and Al-Bab as part of “Bejt Commandos” (later renamed “Al Aqsa”) against legitimate military forces of the State of Syria.
