Map of Nobel Prize Winners Origin radiosarajevo.baThe winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for 2015 is the Tunisian National Quartet for Dialogue, thanks to its determined contribution to the construction of pluralistic democracy in Tunisia; the Swedish Academy announced.

The quartet is rewarded for the activities during the so-called Jasmine Revolution in 2011.

Individuals and organizations from around the world have nominated 273 candidates for the Nobel Peace Prize this year.

Have you ever wondered where all Nobel Prize winners come from? The largest number of Nobel Prize winners is coming from the United States of America – 257. Following the US, most of them are in Great Britain – 93, Germany – 80, and France – 53.

B&H is also on the list. The country should be proud of its Nobel Prize winners Ivo Andric and Vladimir Prelog. Croatia and Slovenia each have one laureate.
