Covic: Bosnia and Herzegovina is indivisible, remember that

The issue of the Constitutional Court, i.e. foreign judges, the Election Law of BiH and State property must be resolved by the end of the year, without blackmail and conditioning and apparent protectorate, Dragan Čović, deputy speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, and leader of HDZ BiH.

“If someone says that your Constitution is not good, and it is the result of the Paris or Dayton Peace Agreements, then this is a sign that the constitution needs to be thoroughly changed. Are we ready for such a thing? And now that we put the Constitution and the Constitutional Court on one side, which must pass some laws on whether our regulations are in line with that constitution, and someone from outside is saying that some of our decisions are discriminatory, there will be more. They also have Begić verdicts, it’s a fine political game.”

“I personally think that the legitimate representation of the constituent nations in the institutions where decisions are made in the houses of the people and the Presidency must take root as such,“ Čović said.

“Those people must be representatives of that nation, and who they choose is theirs. The Croatian member of the Presidency must be elected by the Croatian people.”

Bosnia and Herzegovina will be a European country, it will enter the NATO alliance, he emphasized.

“It is indivisible, remember that, and how we organize ourselves inside is up to us and we have to decide that.
