crazy (1)Living far away from their country that has been witnessing many social events in the last month, two creative Bosnians decided to give their contribution to the citizens’ insurgency. From Amsterdam they started a project called “Crazy Enough to Change Bosnia”, in which many people from Bosnia living abroad, as well as foreigners, participated.

We started this project in the very first week of the protests by following our friends who are on the streets of Sarajevo on a daily basis. We felt sorry because we did not have an opportunity to join them, and also we noticed that the Dutch media does not pay enough attention to the events in B&H, explained Amra Hadžiarapović, marketing manager.

With her friend Ella Gazibara, and with the help of other friends from the Netherlands, she filmed a short movie in which they wanted to support the protests personally. In order to share that video, they started the Facebook page, “Crazy Enough To Change Bosnia”, and in 7 days they received a lot of attention.

“The aim of this project is to show the faces of the demonstrators, and to give support to the citizens of B&H to continue the protests and a united struggle for a better tomorrow. We think that protests are a positive, democratic step towards the better future of B&H and that they should not finish until things start to get better”, says Amra.

They are satisfied with the performance so far, and they invite all people who are “crazy enough”, to join the Facebook page Crazy Enough To Change Bosnia.
