Crisis Staff discussed immunization with the third dose of the coronavirus Vaccine

At today’s session of the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of the Sarajevo Canton, the epidemiological situation in the Sarajevo Canton was discussed, and there was talk about immunization with the third dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

In accordance with the presented data, at the session of the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of CS, it was ordered that the Public Institution for Public Health of CS address the Expert Advisory Body for Immunization of the Population in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a request to take the final position FBiH with the third dose of coronavirus vaccine.

If this body does not take an official position on this issue within the given deadline, the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health will also take it into prompt consideration.

It was concluded that the epidemiological situation in this canton will be closely monitored on a 14-day basis or, if necessary, more frequently, and that in accordance with that, this headquarters will adopt additional measures or recommendations.

According to the data of the Public Health Institute of CS, in the past seven days the average number of infected is 174, while the weekly incidence, ie the number of patients per 100,000 inhabitants, is 288.

Last day, 140 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Sarajevo Canton, after laboratory testing of 1,003 samples. There are currently 211 patients in hospital, 185 of whom have an acute infection, while the rest are post covid or under observation.

The current share of vaccinated persons in the number of hospitalized is 9.95 percent, Klix.ba writes.
