Chief of Croatian HDZ party and Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenkovic signed on Friday contracts worth 25 million and 800 thousand kuna in Tolisa near Orasje.

The projects signed were mainly in the fields of culture, science, education and health.

89 projects with a total value of 25.8 million kuna – the largest amount allocated by the Croatian Government to Croats in BiH so far, or 1.8 million more than last year. These are vital projects that would be difficult for locals to reach without money from Croatia.

The Croatian government not only has a constitutional obligation to assist the Croats in BiH, but, as they say, they also do so to preserve their survival. Critics say it’s just vote buying.

“Unfortunately, in the area of Domaljevac-Samac municipality, we still do not have a solution to the water supply system, that is, the water supply network. This is a big problem for the residents in terms of health and quality of life,” said Stjepan Piljić, the mayor.

Dr. Ozana Medic, director of the Citluk Health Center, said the service will soon be of better quality because the money will be invested in “renovating and procuring one biochemical testing apparatus.”

“For the last three years, the Government of the Republic of Croatia has been trying to find more funds in the budget every year, but not just for the money, but for good neighborly relations of mutual respect, that we solve open problems, and that the Croats be an equal people,” Plenkovic added, Dnevnik.hr reports.
