The President of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, said that in Brussels at the European Council, he would vote for the opening of negotiations on BiH’s membership in the EU, but also assessed that the accession negotiations will last 500 years or longer.

He said that he was in favor of opening negotiations on BiH’s membership in the EU even before Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.

“Negotiations on BiH’s entry into the EU will last longer than they did under the Turks,” Milanović believes.

He told the journalists that if he had been in Plenković’s place, he would have demanded that Croats in BiH be provided with the right to elect their own member of the BiH Presidency.

“We need to fight for what was stolen from them, what belongs to them according to Dayton, which Plenković did not dare to do, and I will do it immediately,” claims Milanović, Klix.ba reports.
