Cut off Contacts with those who glorify War Criminals!

The promotion of the book of convicted war criminal Valentin Ćorić in the crowded hall of the Herceg Stjepan Kosača House in Mostar shows that the statements of Lidija Bradar, Sanja Vlaisavljević and Darijo Kordić are not just the cry of individuals or a group of enraged nationalists, but an organized system that arose in the twenties and survived within that framework , it is stated in the statement of the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide.

“Our persistent calls to international and domestic organizations and individuals do not aim to save us, but our appeal that such groups and individuals become a danger to democracy in the entire EU. We have been warning for years that war criminals are glorified as heroes in their communities – Šljivančanin teaches students in Serbia, which the whole of Croatia is appalled by, Valentin Ćorić promotes books in Croatia and the part of Bosnia and Herzegovina controlled by Croatia, which Croatia is not appalled by, but approves of Fikret Abdić is training his grandchildren to follow in his footsteps. All of them have a common denominator: a convicted war criminal!”, the statement reads.

The Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide once again called on international and domestic officials to completely stop contacts with all persons who glorify or in any way support convicted war criminals.

“This is not just our cry, this is the legal obligation of everyone who lives and works in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, they note in the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide and remind Article 145a of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
