The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, spoke in Poland, on the sidelines of the Economic Forum in Karpacz, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, about the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral relations, mutual visits, as well as regular contacts of the highest officials of the two countries.

The importance of intensively strengthening cooperation in various areas of the economy, such as energy, agriculture and infrastructure, was highlighted, and the commitment to further improvement of overall relations was expressed.

Cvijanović expressed her gratitude for the projects of the Government of Hungary, aimed at supporting farmers in the Republika Srpska, as well as for Hungary’s expressed commitment to participating in the implementation of other important projects.

The member of the BiH Presidency pointed out that she highly appreciates the high level of understanding that Hungary shows towards the interests of all peoples in BiH, as well as Hungary’s principled support for BiH’s European path, especially expressed in the process of obtaining candidate status for membership in the European Union.

During tomorrow’s day, Cvijanović is scheduled to address the participants of the 32nd economic forum in Karpacz, on the topic “Western Balkans – regional initiatives and European integration”.
