damiravdicIn the cult Sarajevo premises of the former CDA, which is today called SARTR theatre, a concert by Damir Avdić will be held. The concert will mark the performance of original compositions from the album Human Reich, Mein Kapital, Život je Raj (life is heaven) and Mrtvi su Mrtvi (the dead are dead), and special guest will be poet Marko Tomaš, who will open the concert with poems from his new collection “Bulevar narodne revolucije” (boulevard of the people’s revolution).

‘’I read last time in Sarajevo in January last year, so that was more than one year ago. The choice of poems will depend on the atmosphere. I never decide about that in advance. I first have to figure out the space and the people’’, said Tomaš to klix.ba.

He is performing with Damir Avdić for the second time. The first performance was in Zadar and the public was enthralled.

‘’It did not turn out bad. And now it somehow happened that some people wanted to see something similar in Sarajevo, so we will do that’’, said Tomaš.

Tomaš said that the public expects a ‘hopelessness atmosphere, because he does not know what else he could create with his poems, and tells them to ‘think with their own heads’.

The concert will start at 21:00 tonight, and tickets are already on sale on portal www.kupikartu.ba and in the following places: SARTR, Delikatesna café and Galerija Boris Smoje.

The price of a ticket is 15 BAM.
