The Davis Cup team of B&H was defeated today in doubles against the Lithuania team with 3:0 in sets (6:3, 6:3, 7:6).
After Damir Džumhur’s equalizing (1:1) yesterday in the final round of the second group of the E/A zone, the B&H Davis Cup team was defeated today in the sports hall “Ramiz Salčin” at Mojmilo.
Ričardas berankis and Laurynas Grigelis outplayed Mirza Bašić and Tomislav Brkić.
After more than an hour and the result of 2:0 in the first two sets, Brkić and Bašić resisted good in the third set. After 43 minutes of playing it was 6:6 in the third set which went to tie-break for the guests.
If Džumhur wins tomorrow against Berankis, the decisive match for the B&H team to enter the first E/A zone will be the one between Bašić and Grigelis.
