In Banja Luka, wreaths were laid at the “12 Babies” monument on the occasion of the City Day celebration.

On behalf of the institutions of the Republika Srpska, wreaths were laid by the President of the RS National Assembly Nenad Stevandić and the envoy of the President of the RS Radovan Kovačević.

Wreaths were also laid by the delegation of the city of Banja Luka, and the mother of one of the Banja Luka babies, Dragica Komljenović, together with a delegation of families of fallen soldiers and missing civilians.

The program for the celebration of the City Day and 80 years since the liberation from fascism also includes the laying of wreaths at the Monument to the Fallen Soldiers of World War II on the Square of the Fallen Soldiers.

Banja Luka celebrates City Day in memory of April 22, 1945, when it was liberated from the occupiers in World War II, Srna writes.
