Daylight Saving Time will end on Sunday, October 29, when clocks will be set back for 1 hour.
On Sunday at 3.00 AM, the clocks will be set back for 1 hour so that the time at 3.00 AM will be counted as 2.00 AM.
The time shift is conducted between Saturday and Sunday, in order not to cause more problems for the working population.
The Daylight Saving Time in the former Yugoslavia was introduced on March 27, 1983. Since 2002, the European Union, as well as other countries in Europe, determined that the start of the Daylight Saving Time will start on the last Sunday in March and end on the last Sunday in the month of October.
This time shifting was introduced with the explanation that it “extends” the day, saves electricity consumption, increases productivity, improves customization of people, and makes working day more efficient.
