Decision on the Withdrawal of the first Tranche of IMF Loan reached

Vijeće Ministara nap.baAt an extraordinary session, the Council of Ministers of BiH reached a Decision on the withdrawal of the first tranche of the Extended arrangement with the International Monetary Fund in the amount of 154.155.170,11 BAM.

The Council of Ministers authorized the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH to issue a bill of exchange and implement necessary activities in its jurisdiction for the withdrawal of the first tranche.

Funds in the amount of 154.155.170,11 BAM will be distributed between the budget of the FBiH (two thirds) and the budget of Republika Srpska (one third).

Entities will repay the debt in accordance with the current legal regulations.

“The first tranche for BiH is expected to arrive on September 9, after the Board of Executives of the IMF approves a new Extended arrangement for BiH on September 7 this year,” stated the Council of Ministers of BiH.

The new Extended arrangement with Bosnia and Herzegovina is worth 1.077.030.789,00 BAM and will be approved in tranches over the period of three years.
