Decrease in Gross Electricity Production in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Gross electricity production in Bosnia and Herzegovina in June amounted to 1,025 gigawatt-hours, which is 23.28 percent less than in the same month last year.

In the total gross production, hydropower plants participated with 24.8 percent, thermal power plants with 73.2 percent, and solar and wind power plants with two percent, according to the BiH Agency for Statistics.

Gross production of hydropower plants in June amounted to 255 gigawatt-hours, which is 55.66 percent less than in the same month last year, and 58.38 percent more than in May.

When it comes to the gross production of thermal power plants in June, it amounted to 750 gigawatt-hours, which is 0.94 percent more than in the same month last year, and 17.59 percent less than in May.

Gross production of solar and wind power in the sixth month amounted to 20 gigawatt-hours, which is 11.11 percent more than in June last year, and 41.18 percent less than in May.
