Delegation of the US Secretary of Defense visited the Ministry of Defence of BiH

Minister of Defence of BiH Zekerijah Osmić greeted yesterday a delegation of the US Secretary of Defence headed by Deputy Commander of the Maryland National Guard, brigadier general Peter C. Hinz.

Military attaché of USA in BiH, colonel Scott Miller was a part of the delegation.

Deputy Minister of Defence of BiH Marina Pendeš, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH lieutenant general Miladin Milojičić and his deputy major general Anto Jelač represented the delegation of the Ministry of Defence of BiH and AF BIH.

They talked about the cooperation of BiH and Maryland, especially about the cooperation of the preparation, training and referral of common units of the military police in the ISAF mission in Afghanistan.

Osmić thanked general Hinz and the members of the US delegation for their presence at the farewell ceremony of military police of BiH, that will as a part of military police of MNG will perform the most demanding mission so far.

Minister Osmić said that the Ministry of Defence of BiH will work harder to help the process of Euro-Atlantic integration of BiH, and they will work especially hard on fulfilling the requirements for the MAP.

General Hinz thanked Osmić for his invitation to the farewell ceremony and added that he expects that this form of cooperation will continue.
