Deposits of Domestic Sectors in BiH increased by over 77 Million BAM

The total deposits of domestic sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the end of March amounted to 29.26 billion BAM and are higher by 77.5 million BAM or 0.3 percent compared to the previous month, the Central Bank of BiH announced.

The growth of deposits on a monthly level was registered in the household sector by 169.6 million BAM or 1.1 percent, in government institutions by 152.7 million BAM or 3.6 percent, and in other domestic sectors by 6.4 million BAM or 0 .4 percent, announced the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A decrease in deposits in March compared to the previous month was recorded in private companies by 196.7 million BAM or 3.1 percent, and in non-financial public companies by 54.5 million BAM or 2.7 percent.

The annual growth rate of total deposits in March was 9.1 percent, in absolute terms 2.44 billion BAM.

The annual growth of deposits was registered in the household sector for 1.22 billion BAM or 8.8 percent, government institutions for 423.5 million BAM or 10.6 percent, private companies for 796.3 million BAM or 15 percent, and other domestic sector by 78.3 million BAM or 4.5 percent.

In the case of non-financial public companies, deposits decreased by 71.5 million BAM or 3.6 percent on an annual basis.
