Organized by the Civic Initiative of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Stuttgart, on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022, a rally in support of BiH was held in this European city with the aim of pointing out that they are against divisions and conflicts and that everyone is for BiH and BiH for everyone.

A loud message was sent from the gathering that the citizens of BiH are for peace, tolerance, democracy, and prosperity, and against war, conflict, and division into national pens, that the state of BiH belongs to the citizens, not party leaders, that the rule of law must function and that state issues should be resolved in the institutions of BiH.

After the anthems of BiH and Germany were played, in front of the organizers of the gathering, the president of the Organization Committee, Nijaza Mesic, addressed the audience, followed by Jasmina Horstert and Josip Juratovic, members of the Bundestag, and Gari Pavkovic, head of the Stuttgart Office for Foreigners.

A letter of support to the organizers and attendees of the gathering in Stuttgart, among others, was sent by a member of the Bundestag from Hanover, Adis Ahmetovic, the new rapporteur of the Bundestag for the Western Balkans, who could not be present due to isolation.

The letter with the requests from the meeting to the German andthe European Union (EU) authorities, in Bosnian and German, was read by the moderators Sara Glasic and Anes Velispahic.

”If peace, freedom, democracy, openness, respect for all human rights, equal opportunities for all, and prosperity, a world without borders – the future of Europe and the world, we ask the authorities in Germany and the EU for help to make it possible for BiH and to all citizens living in it, ” it is the main message of the gathering of support for BiH in Stuttgart.

Despite the bad weather and restrictive measures due to the coronavirus, a large number of citizens attended the gathering of support for BiH in Stuttgart.

”Marienplatz, with its decoration with the symbols of the homeland, looked Bosnian on Saturday, and there were no incidents. Thank you to everyone who in any way helped this dignified gathering of BiH citizens in Stuttgart and made their voice heard, ” stated the organizers.
