bazarDiplomatic Winter Bazaar, the biggest charity event of the year, is organized by members of the diplomatic community operating in Sarajevo, with the participation of the local business community in order to allow citizens to try food from around the world and buy unusual gifts and items in one place.

Bazaar will be held in the hall Mirza Delibasic in Skenderija on Saturday, the 3rd of December, from 11 am to 4 pm.

“This is also a great opportunity for people from all cultures to get together and help children with special needs, as well as children in need,” said Sandra Horowitz, a member of the organizing committee of the Diplomatic Winter Bazaar in Sarajevo.

Adults will enjoy the experience of flavors from all around the world, and they will have the opportunity to buy tickets for instant lottery ticket, (at a price of 3 BAM), which brings valuable prizes, such as: vacations, gift cards for restaurants, spas, entertainment and many other activities.

“Most importantly, all the money that visitors spend on the bazaar will go to humanitarian organizations that support children in BiH,” said Caroline Ferguson, a member of the organizing committee of the bazaar. “We are grateful for the support of our generous corporate sponsors, including the largest EFT and Mineco, which enabled maintenance of this bazaar.”

The funds from this year’s bazaar will support four humanitarian organizations that are focused on children in need throughout the country: the Day Care Centre for children with special needs Christine Witcutt in Sarajevo, Down Sy and Mi from Banja Luka, Franciscan International Student Center and the Project for family strengthening.

In the organization of this year’s Diplomatic Winter Bazaar participate more than 35 embassies and international organizations, and visitors will be able to find a lot of interesting things at the stands of many exhibitors.
