The Republika Srpska (RS) Administration Union, the RS Internal Affairs Workers’ Union, the RS Professional Union of Doctors of Medicine, the RS Professional Union of Nurses and Technicians, and the RS Independent Health and Welfare Workers Union announced that they will go on a strike on September 29th.

“Dodik, Viskovic, and Vidovic are the ones responsible”

The decision was made at the Trade Union Assembly in Banja Luka, and decisions and conclusions were also adopted on the non-fulfillment of the Agreement on salary increases, non-adoption of special collective agreements, and other important topics.

“We all know what kind of country we live in and that there will be pressure. We are dissatisfied with the work of the RS Government as our employer, we believe that they are not doing their job well, that they have not fulfilled the agreement (signed by Milorad Dodik in 2022),” says Bozo Maric, president of the RS Administration Union.

Police officers did not receive a single BAM for more than a million overtime hours

Anica Jondic from the RS Internal Affairs Workers’ Union complained about the poor position of workers in the police, she claims that the actions are supported by 80% of the workers, even the management staff. The problem is that there are no paid meals and the thirteenth salary, as well as non-payment of overtime hours.

“Government of RS – sleeping beauty”

Jondic and other members of the Administration Union criticize the Government of Radovan Viskovic and recalled that in 2012 and 2013, they overthrew the Government of Aleksandar Dzombic with pressure and protests.

“The government of RS is behaving like a sleeping beauty,” she concluded, N1 reports.
