Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that the Dayton Peace Agreement is the essence of the functioning of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska and that he will always support the agreement of all three constituent nations, while respecting Dayton.

After the meeting in Belgrade with the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, Vučić said that today they discussed all important issues of relations between Serbia and Republika Srpska.

“Dodik informed me about his view of the situation and relations both in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as about the relationship towards the Republika Srpska, the struggle and attempts of the Republika Srpska to preserve its rights and obligations from the Dayton Agreement,” said Vučić at a press conference in Villa “Mir”. in Belgrade.

Vučić announced that he is starting to build two memorial centers, in Donja Gradina and Belgrade.

The President of Serbia congratulated Easter to all Orthodox believers in Serbia, Republika Srpska and everywhere they live.

“I wish everyone a welcome and a happy upcoming Easter, that you spend it in peace, health and joy. I wish a happy Easter to all Orthodox believers in Serbia, Republika Srpska and everywhere they live with the traditional greeting Christ is Risen!”, said Vučić at the press conference.

RS President Milorad Dodik thanked President Aleksandar Vučić because, as he said, he always finds time and space for talks.

“I met President Vučić with the internal problems in BiH, which culminated in a rude way of dealing with property,” said Dodik.

If, he says, it is insisted on, we will not be able to talk to investors.

“All we want is to respect the Dayton Agreement, the Constitution of the RS, respect for the integrity of BiH,” said Dodik.

The meeting with the President of Serbia and Republika Srpska was also attended by the Minister of Finance of Serbia, Siniša Mali.
