dodikPresident of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik congratulated the citizens of Great Britain on the democratically implemented referendum on the exit from the European Union, assessing that the will of people, expressed in this way, is something that must be respected all around the world.

“Referendum, as the ultimate form of democratic expression, must be available to citizens in all modern societies. Great Britain is certainly one such society that proved its political maturity in this way,” Dodik assessed.

Dodik noted that the EU, despite all its weaknesses, remains a goal of RS and BiH, but a goal that can be reached only with full respect of constitutional jurisdictions of all levels of authority and without jeopardizing the autonomy of Srpska.
