Dodik, Krajišnik, Smajić, Vukićević and others at the Funeral of Metropolitan Nikolaj

Funeral Metropolitan Nikolaj rtvbn.com cMetropolitan Dabrobosanski Nikolaj was buried yesterday, in accordance with his personal wish, in the churchyard of the monastery of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary in Dobrun.

The commemoration at the grave was served by His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Irinej with priests and monks of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

The funeral was attended by the highest church dignitaries, the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, delegation of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, as well as numerous believers from Višegrad and the entire RS who arrived in Dobrun by buses or their own transportation. Moreover, the Ambassador of Serbia to B&H Stanimir Vukićević, representatives from the Catholic church, and the Head of Islamic Community in B&H Husejin Smajić also attended the funeral.

His Eminence the Metropolitan Dabrobosanski Nikolaj passed away on October 27 at the University Hospital in Foča, at the age of 88.
