The President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that the National Assembly of the RS will make decisions about the Constitutional Court of BiH, which will be respected and that the Republika Srpska will be protected.
Dodik pointed out that the entire Dayton decision-making process was misused in the Constitutional Court, which avoided absolutely passing through its decision-making what is written in the Constitution, namely that Bosnia and Herzegovina is made up of two entities and three constituent peoples and that decisions are made by consensus.
“They avoided this and in the Constitutional Court promoted decision-making by simple majority, which meant that the three foreigners they appoint and two Bosniaks, Mirsad Ćeman, who was the president of the SDA and replaced Alija Izetbegović, and Seada Palavrić, who left the position of vice-president of the SDA The Constitutional Court makes decisions that we would have to respect because of some abstract reference to the Dayton Agreement,” said Dodik.
He added that everything is aimed at disintegrating the Republika Srpska.
Dodik said that previously, due to the constellation of relations that were very complex and difficult, Republika Srpska had a problem reacting, but now it is united and unified.
“We will make our decisions. If they do not respect the Republika Srpska, of course there will be no BiH. Whatever they think, they can threaten as much as they want, with arrests and I don’t even know what, that is a sign of their inability to do it, no one from the leadership of the Republika Srpska will not be arrested for defending the Republika Srpska. Violence is not on our mind, we want a political struggle,” Dodik pointed out.
He said that the political struggle implies decision-making in the institutions of the system, in the parliament of the Republika Srpska.
“Now they are most bothered by the parliament of Republika Srpska because it will make decisions that will be respected this time,” Dodik told reporters at Duga Njiva near Modriča.
He stated that there are many who believe that earlier decisions were not implemented, or something similar.
“It is important and should be said that earlier decisions and conclusions were made, that they stand there, that the essence has not changed, but that due to some circumstances, it was always necessary or necessary to be smart, politically postpone or wait. If we had started last year, when If the Russian military operation started, if we were to carry out anything, Republika Srpska would have a huge problem,” said Dodik.
He added that it was therefore politically rational to stop and stop, and that now is a different time.
“We will study all the challenges that stand on that plan and we will do everything to protect the Republika Srpska, and that is also related to this corridor. So that the sacrifices are not meaningless, then we have to fight for the Republika Srpska, and the fight is what we we are working today,” Dodik pointed out.
The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina did not give any response after the request from Republika Srpska to withdraw the controversial decision to delete Article 39 of the Rulebook of that court by noon on Friday, June 23, which provides for the postponement of the session if at least one judge elected by the National Assembly of the RS is not present.
The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik announced earlier that, if the Constitutional Court of BiH does not cancel the latest decision, a session of the National Assembly will be scheduled at which a law will be passed on the termination of validity and publication of the decisions of that court in Republika Srpska and the protection of persons who will be persecuted because of it from the BiH authorities.
