The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik announced today that the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska (NSRS) will at the next session adopt the report prepared by the Independent International Commission in which, as he states, “it says that there was no genocide in the area of Srebrenica”.
Dodik pointed out that the Independent International Commission investigated the events in Srebrenica and its surroundings from 1992 to 1995, and not, as he says, “just one month of conflict in that area.”
“In that report, there is a clear claim that there was no genocide in Srebrenica. During the entire period of the war, an approximate number of Serbs and Bosniaks died in that area. For genocide, there must be an intention to destroy a people, and that was not an intention and no intention has been proven.” , pointed out Dodik at a press conference in Banja Luka, after the meeting of the leaders of the ruling coalition in Republika Srpska.
Dodik called the approach of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Elmedin Konaković stupid, who claims that all this should be supported by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, in order to supposedly remove collective responsibility, pointing out that there is no collective responsibility or reason to adopt the document in the UN.
“It is a game played by the British. They cannot represent the international community. Their calls for reconciliation have failed because they are trying to demonize an entire nation. Our public will have a clear opinion on this. For us, the decisions of the National Assembly are binding,” Dodik said.
Dodik believes that on the scene is “a combination of the Bosniak-Muslim elite and part of the international factor, with the aim of creating problems for the Serbs”.
“Only dilettantes can get into the matter called the Election Law. Those who hate the most lose. There is a collective approach of hatred towards the Serbs in the desire to devastate the Republika Srpska, with the aim of making it disappear. What they are doing will take us further from a functional BiH “, said Dodik.
He pointed out that the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska presented a clear position at the last session, that is, how to solve the problem.
“The deadline of seven days has already expired. We reject the possibility that anyone, except the Parliamentary Assembly, adopts laws and that the Official Gazette publishes such acts. This is how we will resolve the situation that is burdening BiH. At the same session, we can also raise the issue of the Election Law and edit it accordingly everyone,” said Dodik.
Dodik emphasized that the situation will be resolved in this way, and if that is not the case, the deputies in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska will adopt the Election Law of the RS.
“The application of imposed laws and decisions of the Central Election Commission that are not in accordance with the laws will not be allowed,” said Dodik.
He repeated his position that it is not an anti-constitutional undertaking and reminded that the CEC is only responsible for elections at the BiH level.
Dodik: The state coalition does not exist!
When asked by journalists about the ruling coalition at the state level, Dodik said that “it doesn’t exist”.
“There is no state coalition. There is no coalition at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina. There is no coalition, nor is BiH a state in the sense in which they want to say it. Internally, Republika Srpska is a state more than Bosnia and Herzegovina,” he said.
Dodik: We will sue America for endangering human rights
SNSD President Milorad Dodik said that the ruling coalition in Republika Srpska agreed today to find funds and find the most eminent law firm in the USA to sue the American government because the basic human rights of individuals in the RS are threatened.
Dodik emphasized that this will be done in the following period.
“As far as we are concerned, we have put an end to sanctions. Let them say what they want, we don’t have time to deal with it, nor do we want to. I also think that our media, at least those that are patriotic and do not have malicious or other intentions towards the Republic of Srpska they should stop writing anything about it,” Dodik told reporters in Banja Luka after the meeting of the parties of the ruling coalition in Republika Srpska, Srna reports.
